LOVESPACE is the convenient alternative to self storage. We come and collect your items from your home, store them in one of our nationwide secure storage facilities, then deliver back to any UK address.
LOVESPACE storage services
Storage by-the-box
Great for anyone storing just a few boxes or suitcases, including students, movers and declutterers. You pay for exactly the no. of items you’re storing and for how long, starting from £3.25 per box per month.
Storage units
For bigger storage needs, choose a storage unit from 15 to 200sqft+ for your furniture, appliances, boxes and anything else that fits, with professional packing if you need that too! Starting from £69 per month.

What’s included in LOVESPACE storage pricing?
LOVESPACE brings you a convenient and cost-effective way to store. Our pricing depends on the service you choose.
What are the LOVESPACE storage by-the-box cost factors?
- Box size - individual costs for small, medium, large, suitcase or crockery boxes
- Storage length - monthly rolling plans, with automatic discounts when you book to store for 2+ months
- FREE home collection - from the ground floor, and when you select for us to arrive between 7am and 6pm (specific ETA provided the day before)
- FREE cancellation or amendments - up to 11am working day before your collection or collection or up 11am two days before your delivery.
- FREE contents coverage - up to £100 coverage per item for damage or loss
- Return delivery - we cost per item to deliver your stuff back to you
Are there any other costs?
- Packing materials - you can order high-quality packing materials direct from us
- Home collection timeslot - only on occasional days with exceptionally high demand
- Doorstep collection for apartment buildings - although collection is free from the ground floor, there’s an upgrade available for us to come right to your, own door
- Return delivery distance - the cost goes up if your delivery address is over 25 miles from where we collected
- Extra contents coverage - you can pay extra for up to £500 coverage per item
What’s included in self storage pricing?
If you’re wondering how traditional self storage pricing compares to LOVESPACE, there are a number of factors to consider.
Location
Storage facilities in larger cities tend to cost more than those in smaller towns. The closer the facility is to the city centre, the more expensive it’s likely to be.
With LOVESPACE, our storage services all have home collection. We’ll take your stuff to the storage facility for you, so you don’t have to worry about being near it!
Unit size
Most self storage facilities have different unit sizes to rent. The larger the unit, the more expensive it is. Units can range from lockers to large warehouses.
Typically, you’ll find prices listed by square foot. With most services, the price per square foot goes down as the units increase in size.
LOVESPACE storage units price per square foot also goes down the bigger the size.
Duration
You will have to decide how long you want to store your stuff for. Some services let you pay by the month and others offer discounts for long-term rentals. You may be able to take advantage of an introductory promotion if you’re a new customer and pay a reduced monthly rate if you take a long-term plan upfront.

Coverage
Many self storage companies will require you to take out a policy to cover your stuff in storage in case it’s somehow damaged. Some require you to buy a policy from them directly, while others require a separate policy.
LOVESPACE offers you a number of different coverage options depending on your storage choice.
Other self storage price factors
As well as the main costs above, there are more factors that can add up when you put your stuff into self storage.
Deposit
Some self storage facilities may require you to pay a deposit to help cover the costs of maintaining the storage unit. In most cases, you get this deposit back once your stuff is out of storage.
Here at LOVESPACE, you’ll never pay a deposit.
Unit size
Hiring a van and driver to help get your stuff to the storage facility can be very expensive. Rather than paying a moving company, we can help.
LOVESPACE van and fuel costs are included as part of our collection fees for our storage units service, and we can deliver your stuff back to your new property too.
Packing materials
Many storage facilities offer boxes, bubble wrap and tape either at their locations or on their websites.
LOVESPACE offers high quality affordable packing materials – book them easily online ahead of your collection or if you choose one of our storage units, we offer an optional professional packing service where we can do everything for you!
Padlocks
Self storage facilities are open to the public, so you’ll need a padlock to secure your storage unit, and many facilities sell these at an extra charge at their locations.
At LOVESPACE, our secure storage facilities are only accessible by our trusted network of storage professionals who collect and deliver your stuff. When you book one of our storage units, we’ll padlock your items at no extra cost.
