Every summer, thousands of students trust us to store the things that matter most to them. The duvet from home, the boxes of books, the bike, the lamp they swear they'll use next year. This year, more of you did than ever before.

Student season 2026 is done, and we wanted to take a moment to look back at what we achieved and share what's coming next.

The summer in numbers

From May to September, our team was on the road almost non-stop:

• 673,475 miles driven. That's more than 27 times around the Earth.
• Almost 11,000 collections
• 73,000+ boxes moved across the country.
• 93% of collections made on time

Behind every one of those numbers is a driver, a van and a student who needed things to go smoothly. We don't take that for granted.

From Aberdeen to Falmouth

This summer, orders came in from every corner of the UK, and we covered 70+ towns and cities, from Aberdeen to Falmouth and Belfast to Brighton. London led the way, followed by Coventry and Manchester. We also covered university towns like Stirling, St Andrews, Swansea, Plymouth and Norwich.

Whether you were in a big city hub or a smaller university town, we brought the same service to your door.

Out and about

Student season isn't only about vans and boxes. It's about people. This year we got out of our usual workplace and into your world:

• We attended 25+ freshers' fairs, refreshers and campus activations, handing out flyers, answering questions and meeting students face to face.
  
  
  
   
• We visited 986 accommodation sites, dropping off flyers, posters and goodies so students knew exactly where to turn when it was time to store their things.

• You may have spotted our billboards across university towns and cities.
  
  
  Those conversations matter. Every question at a stall and every bit of feedback from a student has helped us shape how we work.

  Looking forward to 2027

  We're not planning to stand still. Here's what we're working on:

• Delivery tracking. Introducing improved delivery tracking so you can follow your driver more accurately and know when to expect us. Less waiting around, fewer "where are they?" moments, more certainty about your day.
   
• Even better punctuality. 93%+ of collections on time is a number we're proud of, but we want it higher. We're looking closely at routing, scheduling and capacity during peak weeks, so that more of you get the slot you were promised, every time.
   
• Better communication. Clear, timely updates matter as much as the van arriving. We're focusing on keeping you informed from booking to the final handover.

• Learning from you. Your feedback is the most useful tool we have. We'll keep acting on it as we plan for the year ahead.
